Different classes took on different activities and methods to explore their designated native species. For example some Children learned about an oak tree sapling on school grounds. Other students collected leaves from mature oak trees. Some classes took a trip to The National Botanic Gardens to learn about biodiversity. Other students learned about lots of minibeasts, went on a minibeast hunt around school and created their own minibeasts made from clay. Children learned about the life cycle of an oak tree in the classroom. Whilst others learned about holly and drew pictures of it.
